Terms of service
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms cover your use of Venio, a booking service run by Zaid Technology for barbershops. By booking an appointment, joining a walk-in line, creating an account, or using a shop dashboard, you agree to them.
1. Who provides what
Zaid Technology provides the booking software. The haircut or other service is provided by the shop and the barber you book with, who are independent businesses. They set their own prices, hours, cancellation rules and no-show fees, and they are responsible for the service itself.
2. Booking
- Give accurate contact details so the shop can confirm and remind you.
- Prices shown when you book are set by your barber and may change for future bookings.
- Shops may need to move or cancel an appointment (for example if a barber is sick). They'll try to let you know as early as possible.
- Walk-in wait times are estimates.
3. Changes, cancellations and no-shows
- You can reschedule or cancel online up to the time the shop allows (shown on your booking). After that, call the shop.
- If you saved a card and don't show up without cancelling, the shop may charge the no-show fee shown when you booked. The barber confirms the no-show before any fee is charged.
4. Payments
- Online payments are processed by Stripe and paid directly to your barber's own Stripe account. Stripe's terms also apply.
- If you choose card on file, nothing is charged when you book. You authorize your barber to charge that card after your visit for the service (plus any tip you choose) and, if it applies, a no-show fee.
- Afterpay and similar options are provided by their own companies under their own terms.
- Refunds are decided by the shop. Ask your barber or the shop first.
- Venio doesn't add booking fees for clients.
5. Accounts
Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else used your account. Bookings made with your email or phone number may be linked to your account.
6. For shops and barbers
- Shops pay Zaid Technology the setup fee and monthly price in their agreement. Card processing fees are charged by Stripe to each barber's own account.
- Each barber is responsible for their own Stripe account, taxes, licenses, and following the law when charging clients.
- Shops are responsible for having permission to import client lists and to contact their clients.
- Chair rent shown in the app is an agreement between the shop owner and the barber. Zaid Technology only provides the tool to track and collect it.
7. Fair use
Don't make fake bookings, misuse other people's information, try to break or overload the service, or use it for anything illegal.
8. Reviews
Reviews should be honest and about your own visit. We may remove reviews that are abusive or fake.
9. No warranty and limits of liability
The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Zaid Technology isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the services provided by shops and barbers, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Zaid Technology in the 12 months before the claim (for clients, usually $0, since we charge clients no fees).
10. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If changes are meaningful we'll update the date above. You can stop using the service at any time.
11. Law
Venio is owned and operated by Zaid Technology LLC, based in the Bay Area, California. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
